Results

The EcoAgeing project focuses on fostering intergenerational dialogue in between young people under 30 and senior citizens, aged 50+. The national eco-workshops which will take place in all partner countries, are a testament to our resolve to actively engage with the community and make this intergenerational dialogue happen.

Each country features at least 4 national eco-workshops with young people and senior citizens being able to learn and engage with each other. Young people are able to share their worries and concerns on environmental protection. At the same time, senior citizens can provide them into more insight towards climate-friendly behaviour that might not be known or custom anymore among young generations.

WINTER 2026

As part of the project, the partners develop a mobile application, designed especially towards the needs and requirements of senior citizens. With the mobile application they are able to learn about climate protection measures and activities in an easy and entertaining way. 

The application is focused on improving the senior citizens knowledge on climate and environmental measures, as well as providing them with ideas on how to make their own daily habits and behaviour more environmentally-friendly.

WINTER 2026

At the end of the project, there are 5 national climate conferences, one each in Türkiye, Austria, France, Greece, and Spain.

The climate conferences feature information about the EcoAgeing project, its impact and results, as well as environmental speakers and contributions, that will support the understanding and raising of awareness of climate change and environmental protection in all the partner countries.
